Very popular in America, the delicious brownies. Thanks to the many Dutch who have been in America, the brownies are also popular in Holland.

Chocolate brownies with nuts,

170 gram pure chocolate, 250 grams butter, 6 eggs, 625 gram sugar, 2 ts vanille essence, 215 gram flour (sieved), little salt, 250 gram chopped walnuts (your choice)

 

1. Preheat the oven at 190 degrees. Grease a baking form of 37.5 x 25 cm. cover the bottom and sides of the form with flour and shake out excess flour.
2. Melt the chocolate with the butter in a small pan at a very low heat or over a pan of boiling water. Stir until smooth.
3. Beat the eggs, vanilla essence and sugar in a bowl for a foamy mixture with the mixer put in the middle position

4. Stir slightly cooled chocolate with the eggmixture. Beat the flour and add a little salt, stop beating when the ingredients are mixed well. If you like you can stir the chopped walnuts in. Pour the batter in the baking form and flatten.
5. Bake the cake 25 to 30 minutes in the middle of the oven until the inside just isn't moist anymore. Cut him into pieces if he is cooled off.
